UPDATE - these events are now fully booked.
Recruitment of staff for the new prison in Wrexham begins this month.
The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) - which will run the prison - is recruiting prison officers, operational support grades and business administration support for when the facility opens in 2017.
Once operational, the prison will provide around 1,000 jobs. Not to mention the jobs supported through contracts with suppliers and service-providers.
There are four recruitment sessions being run over two days.
• Saturday, November 7 at 10am and 2pm at Glyndwr University, Mold Road, Wrexham.
• Wednesday, November 18 at 2.30pm and 7pm at Wrexham Memorial Hall, Bodhyfryd, Wrexham.
Whether you’re already interested in a particular role at the prison, or just want to know a bit more about prospects, each event will provide a great chance to learn about the job opportunities available.
You'll be able to meet Prison Service and health professionals, ask questions about the jobs available and get advice and assistance with job applications.
People are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the start time to register. Anyone wishing to attend should register at nomsintrantet.org.uk/nwrec and more information can be found at www.nomscareers.com.
