A meet-the-buyer event is being held for companies interested in supply chain opportunities created by the Menai Science Park development.
M-SParc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bangor University, is developing a Science Park at Gaerwen on Anglesey.
And M-SParc understand that pioneering, innovative businesses at the cutting edge of science need expert knowledge, skill, support, encouragement and investment to succeed.
Funded by the Welsh Government and European Regional Development Funds, M-SParc will create the right environment, helping companies in the sectors of low carbon energy, environment and ICT to get going.
The aim is to ignite the ambition of the region, promoting entrepreneurship and providing high value employment.
Willmott Dixon, one of the UK's leading independent construction companies, are the contractors for the first phase, and will deliver the infrastructure to enable M-SParc to achieve their vision.
To facilitate this, a supply-chain development event will be held on May 17 at Parc Menai, Bangor, to allow the local supply chain to be able to tender for the various development packages that are expected to be announced by Willmott Dixon from mid-May 2016 onwards.
Opportunities for businesses to deliver services include:
Brickwork – ceramic tiling – demolition – fencing – fire protection – landscaping – electrical – roofing – signage – steelwork – windows - and many more.
