We've found 5 great business events taking place in the coming weeks that could be just what you need - whether you’re taking a leap of faith, or looking to take your next step on your entrepreneurial journey.

And the best bit? They’re all completely free :)

1. starting a business - taking the plunge

Organised by Business Wales, this event takes place across Wales throughout February and March 2016.

The workshop helps budding entrepreneurs understand what's required to start a business, and assess whether they have what it takes to be a success.

2. exporting is great

The Exporting is GREAT Hub is touring Wales until February 25. At the Hub, you can speak to experts on a range of export issues, including finance, legal issues and finding support for growing your export business.

Perfect for Welsh businesses looking for export opportunities.

3. construction futures wales – supply chain development

Back by popular demand, the Construction Futures Wales Breakfast Briefing will help businesses review the flow of materials, labour, products, finances and information from source to customer as part of their supply chain.

The event takes place on February 25, 7:30-11:30am at The OpTIC Centre, St Asaph Business Park.

4. hmrc webinars on employing people

Webinars are a great way to get valuable info from the comfort of…well wherever you want.

HMRC has some great webinars available in February, providing help and support on being an employer - including how to provide accurate information to HMRC, taking on your first employee and the main payroll changes coming in for the new tax year.

5. hmrc webinars on vat

HMRC also has some very useful webinars on VAT.

The webinars are aimed at businesses about to register, or recently registered. Introduction webinars include information for new businesses - like what VAT is, how it works and when to register.

There are also webinars available on VAT rates, simple VAT accounting and things that aren’t subject to VAT on various dates during February.
