flintshire business week 2015 (october 13-23)

Business meeting in North Wales.

Make new contacts. Learn new skills. Get new ideas.

Yes. You can do all these things at Flintshire Business Week, which starts on Tuesday, October 13.

Since its inception in 2007, ‘FBW’ has grown year-on-year into a huge annual event – supporting business in Flintshire and the wider region.

It helps companies showcase their products and services, and brings delegates together to boost trading opportunities.

The event kicks-off on October 13 with a regional business exhibition at Coleg Cambria’s Deeside campus.

Over 60 exhibitors from across North Wales, West Cheshire and Wirral will be there, offering a great chance to meet people that can potentially make a difference to your business.

And that’s only the beginning. Throughout the week, there’ll be loads of opportunities to build supply chain contacts, raise awareness of your brand, or soak-up key insights from free seminars.

Here’s six highlights you might not want to miss…

1. mda innovation network

The Mersey Dee Alliance innovation network will help the week get off to an inspirational start with a networking breakfast.

Make sure you register beforehand. This is very popular. And places are limited.

2. superfast broadband

Michael Groves from Welsh Government will discuss Superfast Broadband and how it can help businesses in Wales.

3. social media for business

Social media can be a massive influencer for business. Learn from Inputus how to take advantage of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

4. pro ppc and google representative

Why is Google the Holy Grail of business advertising?

Find out at this seminar hosted by Google AdWords conversion experts Pro PPC, who will be joined by a representative from Google.

5. regional skills development

Our very own Iwan Thomas will discuss regional skills development, and what NWEAB can offer to people looking to develop their skills.

Things like our TRAC and OPUS programmes (read more about them here).

6. politicians’ question time

This CBI event will be chaired by ITV’s Carol Green and feature AM and MPs from across the region.
