Careers Wales and Grŵp Llandrillo Menai are inviting employers and partners to a ‘high impact’ careers festival on Monday, March 13, 2017.
The event is for years 10-13 pupils from schools in Conwy and Denbighshire, and takes place at the Grwp Llandrillo Menai, Rhos-on-Sea campus.
There are a number of pretty big infrastructure projects happening in North Wales that will offer a range of STEM career and supply chain opportunities.
So now is a great time for young people to plan ahead to ensure they have the relevant skills and training.
The careers festival will:
• Focus on apprenticeships and vocational routes
• Have hubs to include employment, Codi STEM, apprenticeships, progression and next steps
• Give pupils the opportunity to highlight work opportunities that exist both locally and nationally
• Highlight the employability skills that will be needed for the future
By attending this event, you will get the opportunity to network with pupils and promote the various job-roles, skills and opportunities within your company, as well as provide an opportunity to raise your company profile and be included in media coverage.
To stand out from the crowd, organisers are asking that you bring something ‘interactive’ for the pupils to experience, as these types of activities are proven to highly engage with young people.
