apprenticeship week cymru 2017

Apprenticeship Week Cymru is taking place from 6 March to 10 March 2017, celebrating the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

Apprenticeships offer a unique package of support, qualifications and experience and are playing their part in bringing down long term unemployment.

They are one of the most practical and cost effective ways to build a skilled workforce and address skills gaps, bringing a significant return-on-investment.

During the week, Welsh Government, education institutions and training providers will be engaging with employers and promoting the advantages of taking on and supporting apprentices in the workplace, highlighting the talent and skills apprentices bring businesses and the wider economy.

Throughout Apprenticeship Week Cymru there will be a number of events held across North Wales including college open events and careers fairs.
